At The New Yorker, I art directed illustration for web-only posts—everything from Pulitzer Prize winning political coverage to cultural criticism to book reviews. I worked closely with our web photo editors to find and create the best artwork for a post—whether it was a commissioned photo illustration or a wire photo. I also art directed web-only interactives, commissioned website iconography, designed social media and video graphics, and ran the art department’s Instagram account.
